Hope springs eternal
unsettling crystal views,
cite hopeless dogma.
Stagnant crystal pools
once befouled, dry up, hopeless
if not for the rain.
Luminous night orbs
mystified wide-eyed dreamers
set their hope in stone.

I also loved your haiku trio. The last one is quite intriguing. I’m thinking it might relate to the orbs of souls that are seen in some photographs. Maybe or maybe not? If not, it is just my connection.

I love your take on that! I have captured those “orbs” on film too. Very cool!
