One
might think
that it is
the diamond
who seeks out the light
but most surprisingly
it seems that it is the light
in her magnificent splendor
who is wooed by her own reflection
manipulated by each facet
called to dance in prismatic bliss
splintering in ecstasy…
it is the diamond
who holds the power
rendering light
unable
to look
hence.

Suitably philosophical for such a way-out subject π

Thank you Jane. I find the predawn hours (this morning roused by my puppy for a wee break) to be most fruitful. π

Predawn I don’t mind since the sun doesn’t officially rise until about 8.30am. It’s the middle of the night wake-up calls I can’t stand, and they are never fruitful!

4 am is what I consider pre-dawn…and I suppose just a bit past middle of the night. At any rate, worked out well for me today. π

4am falls into my definition of middle of the night, ungodly and never to be witnessed π

Thank you PJ. As I mentioned to Jane, I was up very early this morning thanks to my puppy’s bladder. Pre-dawn is a very fruitful time for me creatively. (Not that I plan to make a habit of getting up in the middle of the night…but when I do…:)

Haha! My puppy’s bladder got me up at 3:00 am this morning and I have been up ever since! So I understand!

Thank you Lynn. This is a sampling of my pre-dawn brain. π When I do happen to be up! Thanks to my senior pup who needed a walk. π
