Yes! I plan to take a photo of the tree near me as well…on my way home from work today. It is much more “nestled” in the pines. 😊

Thank you. I saw that tree a day or so before Ronovan’s challenge and knew I wanted to get a photo of it. Writing a Haiku to go with it was perfect timing. 🙂

Trees are one of my favorite parts of nature, alone with animals and bodies of water of any kind. Not so sure about swamps, though. 🙂

I must agree with you on that one. And I have heard from a film I enjoy, “Adaptation” with Meryl Streep, that Orchids grow amongst the unusually shaped trees whose roots are under water. I forgot about that wonder of the swamp. 🙂
