the woman yelled,
just behind me
as I drank tea.
I thought, ‘how ironic is that!’
Her loud chit-chat
filled the café,
drove guests away.
Such rudeness I could not endure.
I glared at her,
I had no choice,
“an indoor voice?!!!”
